Use your numbers.
Find your break-even point.

See how many additional families Family Continuity would need to help your funeral home serve for the investment to pay for itself. Every assumption is visible and editable.

Calculations use estimated gross contribution, not contract face value.

How we calculate this

This is a planning model. It does not guarantee appointments, completed plans, revenue, or insurance production.

  • Arrangement Room contacts = services × arrangement party × usable contact %
  • Visitation & Service contacts = services × attendees × usable contact %
  • Family contacts = Arrangement Room + Visitation & Service
  • Planning interest = family contacts × planning-interest rate
  • Appointments = planning interest × booking rate
  • Completed plans = appointments × show rate × close rate
  • Base contribution = completed plans × gross contribution per plan
  • Attach contribution = completed plans × attach rate × average attach contribution
  • Modeled annual gross contribution = base contribution + attach contribution
  • Break-even families = first-year investment ÷ gross contribution per plan, rounded up

Three family touchpoints. One continuity journey. The Arrangement Room is the conference where the next of kin and on average two other survivors are already providing full contact details at a uniquely relevant moment for future-planning education. Visitation & Service reaches the wider circle who attend in person. Remote & Obituary reaches the livestream, the online obituary, and printed program QR codes — out-of-town family who never enter the building.

Reconciliation. Our observed figure is 55 attendees per service. The Arrangement Room defaults to 3 and Visitation & Service to 52, which together are that same 55. The arrangement party is counted once, in the Arrangement Room, at the higher contact rate. It is not added on top.

Remote & Obituary is excluded from every headline number on this page. We have no measured data for livestream and obituary reach. Its two inputs are conservative estimates and its result is shown separately as upside. Treat it as a reason to expect more, not as a projection.

Planning-interest assumption. The default model uses a conservative 2.5% planning-interest rate. Every assumption is editable, and we recommend replacing the default with your funeral home's measured results whenever available. The same conservative planning-interest rate is applied to both the Arrangement Room and Visitation & Service touchpoints. Actual results may differ by touchpoint. Current inquiries, contract face value, insurance-funded share, and existing database size are retained as operating context. They do not inflate the modeled contribution.
